Coker Tire Offers 16-inch Bias-Look Radials In A Variety of Sizes
Coker Tire Company, the largest supplier of collector car tires, offers steel-belted radial tires for classics of the 1930s and 1940s. Now available in sizes 550R16, 600R16, 650R16, 700R16 and 750R16, the Coker Classic is a safer, more modern alternative for the bias-ply tires used on many collector cars and street rods.
“The 16-inch Coker Classic is the answer to many pre-1950 era car collectors who have longed for a radial replacement tire with the vintage look of a bias ply tire,” says Corky Coker, president of Coker Tire Company. “Previously, these collectors could only use bias-ply tires or sometimes truck tires that lack the desired characteristics of superior handling and performance offered by modern radials.”
Created from brand new molds, the 16-inch Coker Classic radials features a bias-look design and modern radial construction using polyester cord and steel belts with a UTQG rating of 400 BB. The tires are available with 2-3/4- to 4-inch whitewall configuration or in traditional blackwall form. Backed by a life-of-the-tread warranty, these Coker Classic radials are ready for countless miles of cruising. These tires are DOT and ECE approved, and are perfect for authentic restorations, as well as hot rods!
