BF Goodrich Silvertown Radial | 3/4 Inch Whitewall | 165R15

BF Goodrich Whitewall Radial | 15 inch White Wall Tires

BF Goodrich Radial Narrow white wall tires feature an all-season tread design and are great for classics, hot rods, and customs. 15 inch white wall tires are great fitments on all sorts of classic full-size American cars from the sixties and seventies. The narrow white sidewalls are the right touch, matching the narrower whitewalls from the classics of the late sixties and seventies. BF Goodrich Whitewall Radial tires are DOT and ECE (European Community) approved and backed by our life of the tread warranty. Please note that dimensions listed tread width, section width and overall diameter are non-scientific and based on an inflated tire, mounted on a wheel. Dimensions may vary due to rim width and inflation pressure.

Question:
Tyres on my FJ Holden are 165/80 R15. Are the BF Goodrich 165R15 the same width? Where are you located please?
By Bill on April 26, 2016
Answer:

Yes, 165R15 and 165/80R15 tires are the same size in all dimensions. Whenever the middle number of a radial size is omitted, it is assumed to be 80, so 165R15 is same as 165/(80)R15.

These BF Goodrich tires are made in Mexico, but the American Classic 165R15 with 3/4" whitewall is manufactured here in the U.S.
