As you get older, birthdays get less and less exciting, but I try to make it fun for my wife Theresa, because she puts up with so much of my car guy antics. So, I guess giving her a car for her birthday doesn't really help the cause...oh well. Last year, I got her a BMW Isetta, which is a very small car and I also bought a Mini Cooper for her. See a trend? She seems to be gathering a pretty cool collection of tiny cars, so I guess I'll just keep feeding it! It runs great, and looks cool, especially since I put a brand new set of Coker Classic whitewalls on it...you knew I would mention the tires at some point, right? Anyway, I gave her the car when she came back from lunch with Cameron and Casey, and I had filled the back of it with flowers. My grandsons, Benjamin and Joseph, were also in on the surprise and they had a great time with Pop Corky (that's me) and Mimi (Theresa). All in all, it was a fun little surprise, and she's one step closer to having as big of a collection as mine!
