The Chattanooga Motorcar Festival Rocks the Scenic City

In only its third year of operation, the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival continues to grow in stature, as one of the premier automotive events in the Southeast. Being held in Chattanooga, Tennessee, it makes perfect sense for Coker Tire to be involved in this highly acclaimed event, and we participated more than ever this year. Our biggest contribution to the event was the V8's in the Village presented by Coker Tire and Paragon Corvette Reproductions. This special event celebrated American V8 engines, and made for a fun Saturday in the West Village area of downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. A special group of Corvettes and V8-powered muscle cars, hot rods and classic trucks rolled into town and enjoyed the day's activities.
Coker Tire also had a presence at the Pace Grand Prix at the Bend, which involved an incredible 2.75-mile road course that snaked through an industrial area that boarders the Tennessee River. We had a booth there for the Friday and Saturday racing sessions, which were packed with people each day. Additionally, we had the Coker Tire VIP area at the Mecum Auctions event, held at the Chattanooga Convention Center. We had booth spaces at the Car Club Gathering on Friday, V8's in the Village on Saturday and the Concours d'Elegance on Sunday. Throughout the weekend, we held drawings for three Monster Cruiser bicycles. The winners were announced on Sunday: Mike Vassak, Jody Ray and Mildred McNatt.
Undoubtedly, it was a busy weekend for our staff, but we had a great time and hope to do it again. As part of our partnership with the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival, we agreed to donate 5 percent of all retail sales during the week of the event to the Fifty Plus Foundation, the official charity of CMF. We're pleased to announce that we donated a total of $31,138 to the foundation! We're excited to see how this event will continue to grow, and see how we can be involved in 2023.
