Elko, Nevada to Evanston, Wyoming--Day 4 of the Great Race
Yesterday's route on the Great Race was full of long, boring straightaways, that kept the driver staring intently at the speedometer, while the navigator patiently waited for the next instruction to come along. Today was a little different, as the day's rallying kicked off with a tricky maze through the town of Wells, Nevada. Then, it was a straight shot to an un-hosted lunch stop in Wendover, Utah, where we grabbed a quick bite to eat and hit the road again. The Great Race staff allotted a few extra minutes so we could check out the Bonneville Salt Flats, which was super cool. From there, we motored across the state of Utah with a head of steam that would eventually put us into Evanston, Wyoming for our Day 4 evening stop. In between the lunch and evening stops was some of the most beautiful scenery that the United States has to offer. Here are a few samples of our big day on the race, but if you want more please check out www.greatrace.com for daily recaps and blogs from several folks on the race! 160621_GR16_0460 P.S. Gary and Jean Ann Martin in their 1964 Chevy Nova are leading the overall standings by a wide margin! Keep up the good work! Thank you so much to the Martin's for representing Coker Tire on this incredible journey across the country! 160621_GR16_0416 160621_GR16_0208 160621_GR16_0663 160621_GR16_0245 160621_GR16_0824 160621_GR16_0839
