Classic Mercedes with Coker Tires Fresh off of the 2013 Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty, we are slowly getting things back to normal at the office. We received a phone call from Tim Suddard, Publisher of Grassroots Motorsports and Classic Motorsports Magazines, saying that he'd be passing through Chattanooga, on his way back from a family vacation in a vintage Mercedes. He then decided to take a road trip from his home in central Florida to the offices of Hagerty Classic Car Insurance in Traverse City, Michigan, a 3,400-mile round trip. Taking a trip like this would be fun regardless of your passengers, but Tim gathered the whole family and set out on quite the adventure. Of course, adding your wife and two teenagers to the mix can complicate a road trip, but this is family bonding at its absolute finest! Good thing they have air conditioning!
