Farm Life -- Day 5 of the 2017 Great Race
The 2017 Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty has eclipsed the half way point! We're well on our way to the North, and today was spent navigating the flat and straight roads of Indiana and Ohio. We spent all day in farm land, with a set of emergency instructions due to road construction, tractor interference and a generally tricky timed course. At the end of the day, we saw another new daily score winner, with Jim and Louise Feeney taking it with a 6.64 second day. We'd be missing a great opportunity if we didn't tell you that they're doing it on Coker Tire products! In fact, the top 5 finishers in today's route are rolling exclusively on Coker's! Team Coker Tire finished fifth on the day with a score of 14.55 seconds. Today's hosted stops included an incredible turnout in downtown Wapakoneta, Ohio, and a stop at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum (in Auburn, Indiana) that was beyond words. The collection was great, but the people and hospitality was even better! After the Auburn stop was over, the folks at Auctions America hosted an after party and cruise in that showed us that Auburn, Indiana car guys believe in using the RIGHT tires for their cars! Tomorrow sends us on another mission, but for now, take a look at our favorite photos from the day!
