My mom and dad love to spend time with my grandson Taylor. Taylor loves to go over to Grammie and Grampies. My kids (now grown) still love to do that too. I did too. I was raised on that farm. Not only does Taylor get my Moms full attention THE WHOLE DANG TIME HE IS THERE, but he sort of gets my dads attention some too. Heres a picture of several fish the three of them caught out of Peavine Creek which runs through Coker Farm. All three of them (Mom, Dad and my grandson Taylor) colluded together to report that the biggest fish got away. Taylor said it was this big with arms outstretched as wide as he could stretch them. Kids ought to learn how to fish. Taylor gets that opportunity with his great grandparents. I think that is pretty cool. Most kids dont even have the opportunity to be around their grandparents let alone their greats. Taylor Cunninham and Grammie Coker After thinking those pleasant thoughts for a few moments, the selfish Corky quickly then said to myself, .Self, .he never took me fishin!. So, then that same selfish side told me thats why I dont relate to my buds when they talk about fishing and how much they love it. Its my dads fault. That proves it. It didnt take long for me to think unselfishly and remember that I am a consummate car guy and pretty much known around the world as such. I live, eat, and sleep collector car and bike projects, events and everything around wheels. You see, my Dad didnt fish, didnt like fishing because he says he never had the patience.but he loved old cars. He fooled with them all the time! I grew up in the back seat of a 1910 Reo and riding to Hershey Pennsylvania in October all the way back to when the freeway didnt even exist! I am who I am, and I like who I am. I am who I am because my dad didnt like fishing..maybe thats not the correct way to say it. I am who I am because my Mom and Dad raised me to be a car guy. Thanks Dad.
