The 2019 Great Race Kicks Off in Riverside, California

It's that time of year once again! The Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty is an event with TONS of involvment from Coker Tire staff, as well as a number of loyal Coker Tire customers. This year, the event was once again maxed out on participants, making for a huge 120-car field that is diverse as you could imagine. From a 1909 Buick (along with 7 other century-old cars) to a 1974 Dodge police car, the event has something for everyone. This year's event has a West Coast theme, kicking off in Riverside, California a town that is rich in racing history and rests in the heart of Southern California. We will travel north, eventually finishing in Tacoma, Washington on Sunday, June 30th. It's going to be one heck of an adventure, so take a look at our highlights from day one, as the Great Race rolls from Riverside to Victorville and eventually Lancaster, California.
