Great Race 2019 Day 7 -- Heading Into Washington

We have experienced the Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty in many capacities. Many years ago, it would stretch coast to coast, rolling through more than a dozen states each year. For 2019, the nine day rally features a vertical route that extends from California to Washington. Even though we don't get to see as many states this year, we've been blown away with the scenery. Oregon has been beautiful, and we saw lots more great scenery today as we rallied from Bend up to the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum (WAAAM for short) in Hood River, Oregon for lunch. The route was awesome to and from lunch, as we saw some of the most beautiful mountain terrain this country has to offer. Then, we crossed the Columbia River to enter Washington, and enjoyed a packed evening stop at the WAAAM West facility in Vancouver, Washington.
