It's that time of year! We're off on a great old car adventure...the Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty. This year, the event travels from San Antonio, Texas to Greenville, South Carolina, but it'll take us two solid days of rallying to get out of the state of Texas. Today's opening ceremonies offered a great setting, as we were positioned right next to the Alamo. From there, we headed north to San Marcos, Texas for a lunch stop...we didn't do any actual rallying between the start and lunch, just a transit from point A to point B. After a great lunch, the Coker Tire team went on the clock for the first time in the event, aside from yesterday's Hagerty Trophy Run. Yesterday's warm up rally was fun, but today it really counts! The course was challenging, as always, but our team of Gary and Jean Ann Martin took home the Stage 1 victory! Everyone anxiously awaited the results after we rolled into Temple, Texas this evening. Tomrrow we set out for Granbury, Texas and Noccona, Texas...let's hope the Martins continue to lead the pack!
