Great Race 2022 Event Recap

The 2022 Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty Drivers Club is a nine day, 2,300 mile journey for 1974 and earlier cars and trucks. This year, the route goes from Warwick, Rhode Island to Fargo, North Dakota. 130 Great Race cars took the green flag at beautiful Rocky Point State Park in Warwick, and headed West into Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and finally North Dakota. There was no shortage of great stops this year, with thousands of excited spectators, welcoming the cars into town. Team Coker Tire, Gary and JeanAnn Martin once again campaigned their 1932 Ford five window coupe, in hopes of a Grand Championship run. Ultimately, the Martin's landed a second place finish in the Expert division and fourth place overall, another strong finish this year! Congrats to Josh Hull and Trevor Stahl for taking home the victory in their 1932 Ford roadster! There were tons of awesome Coker-equipped vehicles on the race, so let's take a look at a sampling of those cars. If you want more Great Race coverage, be sure to check out the www.greatrace.com
