Coker Tire SEMA Show Coverage Day One
November 06, 2013
Wow, what a day! Our feet are tired but we had a heck of a first day here at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas! It's truly incredible to see how this event has changed since its inception 50 years ago. We have been a part of SEMA for quite some time, and this is without a doubt our biggest and best year. We have new products, and big exciting news from our President, Corky Coker. Keep reading to see the highlights from our first official day of SEMA 2013. If you want up-to-the-minute updates, please follow us on Instagram or Facebook and we'll give you all the photos you can handle!
We are debuting a BRAND NEW tire at SEMA this year, and we plan to have a press conference in our booth (Hot Rod Alley #22775) on Thursday at 10:30am. It's the American Classic bias look radial tire, and it's a game changer for the classic car market. It's stylish, period correct, safe, comfortable...and as Corky says, "it's cooler than dang it". We'll give you more info on it after our press conference on Thursday, but we wanted to first let everyone know that we took home the Best Tire and Related Product award! It's a great honor and you can bet Corky was ecstatic.
We held a press conference this afternoon, and this one is in regard to Corky's new TV show, titled "Backroad Gold", which will air on the Travel Channel in 2014. Corky is obviously very excited about it, and gave the media plenty of great insight into the show with help from his daughter, Casey Cunningham. Corky explained the idea behind the show, and told everyone about his barn find adventures. Stay tuned, as we hope to have official air dates and times very soon.

[caption id="attachment_4215" align="alignleft" width="640"] Joann Bortles built this incredible '67 Firebird and even though it is displayed incomplete, it rolls on a set of our American Classic redline radials, and 17-inch Rocket Booster wheels. What an awesome combination![/caption]
