SEMA 2015 Feature--The Farm Jeep and More from OMIX-ADA
The SEMA Show offers a lot of things to a lot of businesses, and you will find that the four-wheel drive market is huge. Jeep is represented throughout the halls and show areas, with all sorts of custom treatments and radical builds on display. And while there are hundreds of Jeeps at the show, the ones that stand out are often a part of the OMIX-ADA booth. This parts vendor for vintage and modern Jeeps has a special spot in the the upper level of the South Hall, and it always attracts buyers, and Jeep fans. This year was no different, as OMIX-ADA had an interesting collection of vintage Jeeps on display, including the Farm Jeep. A few of them had our military and off road tires on them, so we stopped by for a quick visit. Check out all the cool vintage stuff we found! [products] By far, the most interesting was the "Farm Jeep", a 1946 Willys CJ-2A with special features and attachments for farm use. This thing has a front PTO winch, an engine-driven air compressor, a welder, a side arm mower bar, a towing boom and a buzz saw. How's that for being resourceful? It rolls on dual STA Super Traxion 650-16 tires, mounted to original Willys wheels with special dual wheel attachments. We also liked the 1959 Jeep FC-150, one of only 1,546 made that year...16,251 Jeep Forward Control models were built in all. It's rolling on our Firestone NDCC military tires. The 1955 Willys pickup is another cool piece, rolling on our tires...STA Super Traxion 750-16 to be exact. We also liked the Jeep J-10 truck low mileage survivor, as well as the vintage Fire Jeeps. Without a doubt, OMIX-ADA is the Jeep headquarters, and we might even sneak down to its facility near Atlanta to check out the museum! For now, let's take a look at these crazy Jeeps OMIX-ADA had on display at SEMA 2015. Farm Jeep Farm Jeep Farm Jeep Farm Jeep Farm Jeep Farm Jeep Farm Jeep Farm Jeep
