The 2nd Annual Southeast Moparty Picnic
Mopar followers are a dedicated bunch, and there have been many shows across the country to pay tribute to these iconic cars. Local Mopar guy, Ken Meredith decided to give it a whirl, here in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and he calls the event the "Southeast Moparty Picnic". For the most part, these Mopar-specific events allow any Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth or Desoto to participate. The Southeast Moparty Picnic entered its second year with big plans to make the event bigger and better. And though Mother Nature made it a challenge, the event was a great success. It moved to a larger venue, offering more room to grow at the massive Camp Jordan facility. Ken also planned a Friday night Super Stock Shootout at our local drag strip, but it was rained out. Luckily, the rain didn't hinder folks from joining us here at Coker Tire on Friday for a free tour of the museum and a cookout to kick things off. Check out our photos from the event and be sure to mark your calendars for Mother's Day weekend in 2018 to join the Moparty!
