The Mitty Vintage Road Racing Racing a vintage car is a gamble--it's putting a priceless piece of racing history in harm's way around every corner. Parts can fail and drivers can make mistakes, so to say vintage road racing is dangerous and exciting is an understatement. We love racing, especially if it involves vintage cars, so it was no-brainer for us to be a part of the Speedfest at the Classic Motorsports Mitty. The race is held at Road Atlanta, which is just down the road from us in Braselton, Georgia. The Mitty Vintage Road Racing The Mitty Vintage Road Racing The Mitty Vintage Road Racing The 2.54-mile road course has 12 turns and it's known as one of the world's greatest race tracks, thanks to a great layout with multiple elevation changes and all sorts of distinct features. It's a great place for a vintage race, and has plenty of room for all of the awesome machines that came out to do battle on the course. Coker Tire was involved as a major sponsor, and we set up a booth in the Vendor's Village. Our tires apply to a lot of vintage sports cars, and we even offer a number of vintage Indy car tires in our Firestone product line.
