Question:
I bought a 1957 chevy with your coker classic 7.50 14 tires on it. the tires have less than 300 miles on them. they look brand new and are less than 1 year old. the right rear tire has several cracks in the sidewall. Do you have any idea as to why cracks would appear so soon? Thanks Gerry Knapp 559 905-3803

Answer:

The cracking is most likely due to storage conditions such as dry environment, sun exposure, and/or underinflation. It is advisable to replace any tire that shows signs of sidewall cracking.
