Does this tire have a soft or stiff sidewall? Also, what compound would you recomend for a 3,000 lb stick shift car?

Answer:
The PH377 9.00/28.5-15 only comes in the F9 compound. That is a medium compound for general application. If I had to categorize the sidewall of that particular tire for sidewall stiffness for this application, I would have to say it is on the firm side and would work for a 3000 pound stick shift car. Just like any tire it would require some testing to arrive at a suitable air pressure for maximum efficiency. Probably will be somewhere in the 15 psi range to start and probably working up from there depending on the type and setting of the clutch.
