STA | Super Lug 8 Ply | 900-16

These STA Super Lug 8 Ply 900-16 tires are classic off-roaders. Rise above the rest with the STA Superlug 9.00-16 tire, with its higher ground clearance/overall diameter and incredible traction for SUV's, 4x4's and pickups both on and off the roads. This heavy duty tire offers a stability to go with more secure "footing" than found with radial tires in similar applications. These tires are preferred by the military for severe-duty off road needs.

Bias Ply Construction

Bias ply tire construction is a method that was used from the 1900's through the 1970's on passenger cars and light trucks. Bias ply tires feature ply cords that run at a 45 degree angle to the bead, and overlap in a crisscross pattern, depending on how many ply layers are used. This creates a strong tire, but bias ply tires have a tendency to follow breaks or ruts in the pavement. Bias ply tires are the most authentic choice for classic car restorations and traditional hot rod builds. Coker Tire offers a huge variety of bias ply tires for many applications.

Please Note

  • Tire mounted on wheel for demonstration purposes only. Wheel and other accessories are not included. Please note that dimensions listed (tread width, section width and overall diameter) are non-scientific and based on an inflated tire, mounted to a wheel. Dimensions may vary due to rim width and inflation pressure.

Question:
Hi, can you advise if this tire fits the 1953 dodge M37? It calls for a 9 X 16 tire, but it uses a flap and tube. If yes, is the 16 X 7 offset flap correct for the M37 as well? Thank you!

Answer:

This size would be considered the same as 9x16. Does the truck have split rims and a center stem? If so, here is what you need: Click Here and Click Here.

Question:
Hello, Does this tire come in 35x10.5x16
By Travis on October 05, 2018
Answer:

I am afraid not. This is the only size it is available in that is close to it. This tire stands 36.3" tall and is 10.4" wide at the section, so it is comparable, but nevertheless taller.
