BFGoodrich Narrow Whitewall Silvertown Radial

BF Goodrich Radial Narrow white wall tires feature an all-season tread design and are great for classics, hot rods, and customs. 15 inch white wall tires are great fitments on all sorts of classic full-size American cars from the sixties and seventies. The narrow white sidewalls are the right touch, matching the narrower whitewalls from the classics of the late sixties and seventies. BF Goodrich Whitewall Radial tires are DOT and ECE (European Community) approved and backed by our life of the tread warranty.

Genuine Narrow Whitewall Tire

This product features a genuine narrow whitewall sidewall style. This means that the bright white rubber is added directly to the tire sidewall during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. When we reference "narrow whitewall" tires, we typically mean a whitewall that measures less than two inches, but it can also mean a whitewall that does not reach all the way into the bead. Narrow whitewall tires are popular for many cars built in 1960's all the way through the 1990's.

Radial Tire Construction

Radial tires were first introduced by Michelin in the 1950's, and by the mid 1970's, all American cars came from the factory with radial tires. Radial tire construction means that the tire's ply layers are positioned at a 90 degree angle to the bead. This allows the tire to flex and glide over bumps and breaks in the road. Radial tires provide a smoother ride and longer tread life than bias ply tires. We offer wide whitewall radial tires, as well as narrow whitewalls, redlines, gold lines and high performance radial tires.
