Question:
Would a 6in wide wheel work with a 6.50-16 tire? If not what size is recommended?
By Jeff Redenbaugh on April 12, 2018
Answer:

4.5" to 5.0" is the common width range for a 650-16. A 6" rim would be considered too wide.

Question:
We have a 1958 2-axle horse trailer with tires that are 6.00 - 16. Would these tires work for this trailer, or do you have another option that would be better?
By John on April 21, 2018
Answer:

All of our tires are passenger vehicle rated and not built for trailer use - though many folks have used them for trailers without issue. They lack the reinforced sidewall of a purpose built trailer tire. Our 600-16s will fit, but we sure to compare the load rating with your current equipment and consider the difference between these and purpose built trailer tires.
