Cooper Cobra Radial GT | RWL | 255/70R15

Cooper Cobra G/T Radial tires feature raised white letters and 255/70R15 sizing fits on a variety of applications, including classic trucks, and it's a great size for the rear of your hot rod or muscle car. It fits nicely on a 15x8 inch wheel, but be sure to check the spec box and measure your vehicle for proper fitment. The RWL sidewall is on one side but you can turn them to the inside if you prefer a clean black sidewall. Cooper Cobra G/T tires offer excellent handling and the perfect mix of old school looks and modern performance.

Raised White Letter

This is a raised white letter tire, sometimes called RWL for short. Raised white letter tires became common in the late 1960's on muscle cars like the Pontiac GTO and high performance pony cars, like the Ford Mustang. Raised white letter tires feature white rubber that is built into the tire's sidewall when the carcass is being assembled. The letters are formed when the tire is vulcanized in a curing mold, and then buffed clean to reveal bright white letters. Popular raised white letter tires include BFGoodrich Radial T/A, Firestone Wide Oval and Goodyear Polyglas tires.
