What is the correct size tire and wheel for a 66 mustang ? Don’t know if it matters but it’s an A code 289 with deluxe interior

Answer:
The original equipment size would have been a 695-14 mounted in a 14x5 rim. That translates to a 195/70R14 in a radial. In the Firestone Wide Oval, an FR70-14 would be closest, but it would be two sizes larger than the standard equipment.
