Coker Classic | 2 3/4 Inch Whitewall | G78-15

Coker Classic G78-15 bias ply wide whitewall tires are an excellent upgrade for a car that originally had 710-15 tires. This includes many American classic cars from the 1950s and 1960s, like Chevrolet Impala, Buick, Pontiac and many more! The G78 tires also work well on hot rods and custom cars, as the 2.75 inch whitewall provides the timeless old school look. Coker wide white wall tires feature genuine whitewall construction and authentic deluxe tread designs. These Coker Classic bias ply wide whitewalls are made in the USA. DOT and ECE (European Union) approved, and backed by our life of the tread warranty. Please note that dimensions listed tread width, section width and overall diameter are non-scientific and based on an inflated tire, mounted on a wheel. Dimensions may vary due to rim width and inflation pressure.

I have a 1948 Dodge Deluxe 4 door. I have G78 15 on now is that the original tire that came with the car? If so, dobyou recommend changing tire size?
By James on April 28, 2016

The G78-15 is not original, but is equivalent to the original 710-15 bias ply tire. The modern radial equivalent is 215/75R15.

I have a 1952 Chevy Styleine Deluxe 4 door and I am wondering if the G78 15 will fit - especially in the back with the covers over the tire. I would hate to put them on and they rub against the cover. Any advice would be great. Thanks, Stefan
By Stefan on February 19, 2016

The 1952 Chevrolet 4 door cars were factory equipped with 670-15 tires. The G78-15 tire is one size larger, so where clearance is a concern, we do not recommend installing tires larger than the original size.
