I have a 1972 VW Transporter with a set of old BF Goodrich Trail Maker Plus 185/14. Is there an equivalent in a 205 size for under $100 each?
By Steve on February 25, 2016

A 205 sized tire is not equivalent because by the very nature of how tires are sized, it will be not only wider (205 mm vs. 185 mm), but it will also be taller as the sidewall height is proportional to the width. We would recommend simply continuing to use the correct, stock tire size for your vehicle.

what 5/8 or 3/4 inch whitewall radials should i put on our 1962 Dodge Polara 500 convertible?
By Your Name (optional) on August 28, 2018

Either white wall size would be considered era correct for that year model. The white wall size could have varied depending on the dealer, special order, the factory, etc. Anything less than 1" would be correct in size for 1962.
