my tire reads P245 50VR16 not 55VR16 is this still correct tire? my tires are original to 13,000 mile 1985 IROC Z28

No, this is not the correct size. This tire is a 205/55R16. You need a 245/50VR16. I am afraid that we do not have a source for anything in that size. However, we wish you good luck with the car.
