Both dimension and construction material determine whether a tire is tubeless or tube type. However, many times you will still have to use a tube even in a tubeless tire if your rim does not hold a seal (for example: a wire wheel).Coker Tire Support on August 06, 2018

The recommended rim width is 4" to 5" wide. While they will likely mount up to a 3.5" rim, these tires will be a bit bulged at the shoulders and may experience uneven tread wear. Also, there is always the remote possibility of a tire dismounting.Coker Tire Support on June 04, 2018
