Hi, im just wondering how these track down non dirt roads at various speeds and they are DOT approved? I understand they are not radials but curious to how much different they make the vehicle behave. thanks
By craig on April 05, 2017

These are non-DOT approved and are a soft compound bias ply construction so they definitely handle more like bias ply tires than radials and will wear faster on pavement than radial tires or even highway tread bias ply tires.

I have 1935 Ford 16 inch rims on my 1927 roadster. I think they are 5 inches wide. Can I run your 890x 16 on these rims? If not is it possible to have them widened or do you carry a spoke rim that looks like them?
By Chuck Hancock on July 11, 2018

The minimum rim width you need is 6" to run the 890-16. Rim width is measured at the bead of the rim, from bead to bead. Some fabricators are able to widen rims, but that is not something we have any information on. Do you have Ford 5x5.5 bolt pattern hubs? If so, you might consider a set of our 16x6 5x5.5 bolt pattern Hot Rod Wires: Click Here
