will this tire fit inside the wheel well on a 69 GTO

Answer:

The original equipment for that car would have been a F70-14, which translates to a 215/70R14. The 265/50R14 is substantially larger, so we cannot insure fitment. We recommend you use the specifications tab to measure for clearance before placing an order.
