These tires are made in the USA in the original molds and backed by our life of the tread warranty. US Royal tires were original equipment on many autos from WWII until the 1960's. Please note that dimensions listed tread width, section width and overall diameter are non-scientific and based on an inflated tire, mounted on a wheel. I just purchased a 560-15 from you to use as the spare for my 1967 VW bug. My bug has 165R15 tires on it now. Will the 560-15 tire fit the165R15 rim? Thank you.
By Denton Baker on October 01, 2018

Yes, a 560-15 will fit the same rim. In fact, 560-15 was the original equipment size in 1967. It is a bias ply tire, however, so keep that in mind. It is generally not advised to mix bias ply and radials (your 165R15s are radials), so if you end up having to use the spare be very careful. Bias tire handle differently than radials and when mixed can cause the car to be difficult to control.

Is SKU 55670 tubeless or do I need to buy a tube?
By Chris Rizzo on April 09, 2019

Excellent question. Our specifications list this tire as tubeless, and can be run tubeless on good condition, solid wheels. Thanks,
