Finding a high speed rated tire designed specifically for vintage vehicles is a challenge, but we have a solution with the Avon Turbosteel radial product line. This particular tire features 670R16 sizing, an excellent choice for European sports cars with 16-inch wheels. The classic tread pattern and smooth black sidewall are the right appearance for your classic sports car. This is a tubeless tire, but your application, especially those with wire wheels may require a tube and/or rim strip.

V Speed Rated: Up to 149 mph (240 km/h). Often required OE for higher performance trim level automobiles.

Bias Look Radial Tire

The term "bias look radial" is something that Coker Tire created when we introduced the American Classic bias look radial product line. This means the tire has the appearance and the sizing profiles of a vintage bias ply tire, with modern radial construction. This provides an original look with a smooth ride and longer tread life, compared to bias ply tires. We offer bias look radial tires for vehicles ranging from the 1920's through the 1970's.

  • Bias Look Radial tires feature genuine radial tire construction with bias ply tire size, profile and styling. These tires are built in brand new molds using modern materials and tooling. Typically the sizing is the same as their Bias Ply equivalents with the addition of 'R' in the size value. Tire mounted on wheel for demonstration purposes only. Wheel and other accessories are not included. Please note that dimensions listed (tread width, section width and overall diameter) are non-scientific and based on an inflated tire, mounted to a wheel.
