BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial | Redline | 185/65R15

BFGoodrich Redline Radial tires are one of Coker Tire's most popular products. The 185/65R15 redline tire is synonymous with American muscle cars. While mostly bias ply tires were widely available in the sixties, these modern radial BFGoodrich Redline tires offer fantastic performance and ride quality. A popular tire choice for Mustangs, Camaros and other popular muscle and pony car applications. All BFGoodrich Silvertown Radials feature an all season tread design with an S-speed rating. These 185/65R15 BFGoodrich Redline tires are proudly Made in the USA and backed by Coker Tire Company's Life of the Tread warranty. DOT and ECE (European Community) approved.

Genuine Redline Tire

This product features a genuine redline sidewall style, sometimes known as a red stripe, due to the thin 3/8-inch strip rubber. This means that the red rubber is added directly to the tire sidewall during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. Redline tires hit the American automobile market in 1964 with the introduction of the Pontiac GTO and remained a popular muscle car tire until around 1970. Dual redline tires (two red stripes) were an option on Ford Mustangs, and are now reproduced in original bias ply construction as well as radial construction.

S Speed Rating

S Speed Rated: Up to 112 mph (180 km/h). Often required OE for higher performance trim level classic automobiles.

Radial Tire Construction

Radial tires were first introduced by Michelin in the 1950's, and by the mid 1970's, all American cars came from the factory with radial tires. Radial tire construction means that the tire's ply layers are positioned at a 90 degree angle to the bead. This allows the tire to flex and glide over bumps and breaks in the road. Radial tires provide a smoother ride and longer tread life than bias ply tires. We offer wide whitewall radial tires, as well as narrow whitewalls, redlines, gold lines and high performance radial tires.

Answer:

Our inventory rotates regularly and is between 6-12 month old on average. We store our tires in a climate controlled environment away from the sun. They do not begin their service life till installed. When you purchase tires from us you can expect the maximum life of each tire.
