Cars and Coffee events are some of the most popular automotive events of the modern era. It doesn't tie up an entire weekend and the variety of cars is always entertaining, so these events bring a swell of activity that fits nicely with everyone's packed schedules. In Chattanooga, our good friends at Quick Everett's Garage put together a Cars and Coffee event and it has grown significantly over the last year or so. This event is free to the public, and is always well attended. We've been setting up a booth to help with our local brand awareness...we typically get some questions and orders, but the March 2024 event was a whole different anmial, as our sales guys had a huge crowd of buyers swarming the booth all morning.
The Horseless Carriage Club of America was in town for its National Convention and Tour and put together a special display of 1915 and earlier automobiles. The crowd loved seeing the 100-plus-year-old vehicles, which included a Stanley Steamer, a Lozier touring sedan, an electric Mitchell, a Thomas Flyer and many more outstanding cars from the Brass Era. We'll be bringing you more coverage from the HCCA National Convention and Tour soon, but for now, let's take a look at some of the highlights from the March 2024 Chattanooga Cars and Coffee by Quick Everett's Garage.
This vintage Jaguar looks great and rolls on a set of our Vredestein Sprint Classic radial tires and Dayton Wire Wheels.Great Race Director, Jeff Stumb, joined the fun with the HCCA National Convention and Tour with his 1915 White touring. The Firestones on his car are ancient...it's time for some new tires Jeff!It's hard to go wrong with BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised white letters and Cragar S/S wheels...this 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible proves it!The classic truck market is booming, especially old school 4x4 trucks. This classic Chevy K10 short bed has all the right details, including steel wheels, dog dish caps and BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires.Here's a closer look at the Chevrolet Cheyenne K10 pickup truck, which is equipped with the perfect tire and wheel combo.We're loving this 1970 Chevelle Super Sport, painted in dark green and equipped with Chevrolet's biggest engine package, the 454ci big block.For only two years, Chevrolet used this special wheel design for Super Sport cars, and this 1970 Chevelle looks perfect with them! The SS wheels are wrapped in 225/70R14 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.The crowd got a kick out of seeing the Brass Era cars from the HCCA tour driving in and out of the event. Seeing these cars move under their own power is awesome, and we love to see it becaue that means they're wearing out tires!From one extreme to the other, the Chattanooga Cars and Coffee by Quick Everett's Garage has a great variety of cars and trucks on hand. This Lamborghini Countach is a wild example, rolling on a set of our Pirelli tires.The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most outstanding British sports cars from the 1960s, and this coupe looked great with Dayton wire wheels and redline tires. How about a Saleen Mustang from the Fox Body era? This one is pristine and features a set of our BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 tires mounted to the original 16-inch wheels.Here's a closer look at those original mesh wheels on the Saleen Mustang. The BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 tires fit the wheels nicely and provide excellent grip.The metallic green hue on this Porsche grabbed our attention, and it features a set of alloy wheels, wrapped in modern BFGoodrich rubber.
