Springtime Fun with Old Chevys in Pigeon Forge

There's nothing we love more than the first sign of spring, and for us, that usually means hopping in an old car and driving to a car show. Here in Tennessee, the first events usually kick off in mid-March, and the Corvette Expo in Pigeon Forge is almost always on our radar. It's a fun event with cars, vendors, a swap meet and lots of fun for all types of Corvette (and Chevy) enthusiats. This year, along with the Corvette extravaganza, Byron Cooper and event organizers put together the Chevelles in the Smokies exhibit as part of the indoor display at the Corvette Expo. This exhibit brought together 18 of the finest Chevelles East of the Mississippi, and many of them were wearing our tires! We were pleased to see that the Best in Show was wearing a set of our Firestone Wide Oval Radial redline tires and Rallye wheels, an excellent combo! Other notable cars in the Chevelles in the Smokies exhibit was a pair of 1966 Chevelles owned by Terry Davis. Both cars were rolling on Firestone 775-14 redline bias ply tires, as they did from the factory. With hundreds of Corvettes and Chevelles on the property, there was an abundance of Coker-equipped vehicles to examine while we walked the aisled of the LeConte Center (both inside and outisde). Take a look at some of our highlights and get your collector vehicle ready for springtime cruising!
