M&H Vintage Drag Slick | 900-15

M&H Racemaster 900-15 Vintage Drag Slicks offer period correct styling and excellent drag racing performance for vintage drag cars. The 900-15 sizing is authentic for Super Stock cars from the 1960's, but they work on all types of nostalgia cars, inclduing gassers, hot rods and more. The tires feature a HB11 compound. They measure 29.25 inches in diameter and feature the NHRA-spec (1960's) 7-inch tread width. These tires also feature the NHRA-mandated (1960's) cheater grooves for use in Stock and Super Stock categories. The M&H 900-15 is one of the only slicks that is narrow enough to fit under most muscle cars and Chevy Tri-Fives, but still features a tall sidewall for the correct vintage look. Even though they have cheater grooves, these tires are not DOT approved.

Bias Ply Construction

Bias ply tire construction is a method that was used from the 1900's through the 1970's on passenger cars and light trucks. Bias ply tires feature ply cords that run at a 45 degree angle to the bead, and overlap in a crisscross pattern, depending on how many ply layers are used. This creates a strong tire, but bias ply tires have a tendency to follow breaks or ruts in the pavement. Bias ply tires are the most authentic choice for classic car restorations and traditional hot rod builds. Coker Tire offers a huge variety of bias ply tires for many applications.

What is the height of this tire?

The circumference is 92". Divided by 3.14 the diameter is 29.29"!

Hello ,I am building a 64 Galaxie to run in the SEGA super stock class they are forming. The mandated tire is the M&H vintage drag slick #900-15. My question is what compounds are available on this tire in the #8 compound Thank you for your help

Thanks for contacting us! This size is only available in the #HB11 Medium compound. It is not available in the softer #8 compound.
