Big Daddy Don Garlits Visits Corkyville!

In the drag racing world, "Big Daddy" is a household name. His real name is Don Garlits and he is a drag racing legend. He's been around the sport for many, many years, and he's strapped into some of the fastest dragsters in the world. He is an innovator, a true racer and a downright nice guy, and we were lucky enough for him to stop by and hang out for a while today.
He came through Chattanooga on his way back from the World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova Dragway Park, and decided to drop in for a visit. Corky walked him through the office building, machine shop, museum, as well as Honest Charley Garage across the street. Big Daddy enjoyed all the old engines on display, and swapped stories with Corky throughout the entire visit.
