October 18, 2013We love a good ol' car guy adventure. We do stuff like the Great Race, the Driven Dirty Tour and other road trip adventures on a regular basis, but we encountered a slightly different approach to the standard old car road trip this week. Apparently, a group of guys from California flew to Hershey, Pennsylvania for the AACA Fall Meet with a pocket full of cash, in search of a classic car. The goal was to buy a car at Hershey and drive it back home to California, with Coker Tire being a pit stop along the way. Ok, you have our attention!

July 20, 2012We love it when antique car clubs visit Chattanooga, and 2012 has given us many great chances to see them. We've had a number of unique car clubs visit the Scenic City, and we've managed to wrangle most of them over here to visit our facility. This weeks feature tour is HUGE, with 200 participants. It is the National DeSoto Club, which has been in the area for the past couple of days. So far, they've visited Rock City, the Chickamauga Battlefields and of course, Coker Tire Company! Tomorrow, Saturday July 21st, the club will have a car show at Camp Jordan in East Ridge, just a few miles down the road from us. A small portion of the cars

September 30, 2011Another quick note and a photo of a cool car seen on his Great Race planning trip! Canadians love old cars too! I took this photo of a sharp DeSoto Adventurer in the parking lot of a grocery store in Elliott Lake, Ontario. Somewhere, Great Racer Chad Caldwell is drooling and thinking about hooking up his trailer and heading north of the border to try and find this beauty.
